Good morning everyone It's already last week of September! How's your week? Hong Kong does not really have Autumn so its not noticeable here A year is largely consist of Summer and Winter Kind of like our breakfast, not usually too many surprises Kay and I prefer the consistency as it leaves room for surprises else where Like food, we prefer spending our creativity on desserts / casual bakings We were discussing whether our lives have become a bit too routine When asked what's new, it's always "as usual" haha… Pouring eggs into cold water immediately after cooked makes it 100 times easier to peel Do you prefer a stable meal choice or you enjoy spontaneity on food? Adding some fruits (mostly apples :P) to breakfast recently so its not just eggs There's only so many hours awake we get to spend together, treasuring every moment Even moments like this π it is the best when you have that someone in your life I prefer getting dishes cleaned as soon as we finish our meals No extra thinking so I don't procrastinate Naturally going autopilot on some daily chores after some time There's always something to do when you are at home Do you feel the same? maybe its an introvert thing I'm more fulfilled and energised at home, either alone or with Kay Even chores feel easy when its one of those days I tried fitting demanding chores together so I get it all done at once What do you like to do to relax? I like making myself a drink Drink is where I like my spontaneity, today I'm making a sesame protein shake Sometimes I make fancier drink, today I just want a simple drink You just can't beat playing games with a chill drink on a cozy day I'd still try to get some work done, learning some recipes here and there or aesthetic silent vlogs which I enjoy a lot (which is why I started this channel too) Drinking a protein shake prompts me to do some exercises If i don't workout today, it turns into fat A weird but tasty workout motivation I suppose π Taking a quick refreshing shower even if its early so i can move on with my day Dishes are ready for a while, I saved it for when I need to do some thinking Mundane task helps me think clearly, not sure if its common or peculiar I set out to bake a little for desserts today Making a almond flour keto bread that we like I'll leave the recipe in the description as usual if you want to try it out We tried this recipe out previously when Kay made it Its one of my favourite dessert to date Its not too difficult to make and it taste great That's literally all we are looking for in a DIY dessert right? π I'm not a fan of desserts that are too sweet, prefer them salty than sweet myself Pouring in some melted butter to the pasture The pasture should be easy to stir..
Somethingβs wrong here.. Turns out I forgot to pour milk into it.. that's why its so rigid.. LOL Now that's what I was expecting! Clearly I'm not the master chef yet.. Learning something new every time though! Toppings are optional, can do sesame, nuts, or anything that you favours Now everything is ready, delicious bread awaiting in 45 minutes! This is a relatively simple bread to make Can definitely consider it as a breakfast choice for early folks out there Even an amateur like me get the pre-baking phase done in 20minutes including the time to resolve the milk incident π I can attest that it goes great with iced coffee too Every day is unique in its own way, I never imagined I can bake at all before my first try Don't be afraid to live out your life! It does get easier once you start~ I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I enjoy making it!
